Constance Contursi Barker
President / Owner
Roselle / Oak Park
Constance Contursi Barker has been a leader in the industry for over twelve years as a group fitness manager and is a National Master Trainer for Hit It!® Kickbox and Hit It!® P.O.W.E.R. class formats. She is an ACE and AFAA certified group exercise instructor and ACE personal trainer. She is well recognized for her motivation, dedication and passion for teaching group fitness and believes that teaching participants how to have fun while exercising is most important for exercise adherence. Constance is also well known for her citywide live Hit It!® classes as well as her appearances in national fitness commercials and advertisements.
DJ KJ® Head Trainer / Co-Creator / Fitness Instructor
Kevin Barker (DJ KJ®) has emerged upon the elite nightlife scene of Chicago entertaining everyone including Chicago’s A-List socialites and celebrities. His dj sets and high energy dance mixes have dominated dance floors and garnered recognition for some time now. All of his mixes are featured in the Hit It!® formats and dvds. Kevin is also a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with over 13 years experience and a B.S. in Exercise Science.
Christine Baccino has been a certified group exercise instructor and personal trainer in the fitness industry for over 10 years. She is the owner of Baccino Massage Therapy practicing clinical massage for over 4 years as a licensed massage therapist. Christine is dedicated to helping clients “Live Life Pain Free” through massage and her resistance training techniques.
Roselle / Oak Park
Patti Rinaldi is a resident of Roselle with her husband and two fantastic sons. Her love for Hit It!® Fitness is evident in all that Patti does from participating in fitness convention shows, representing the company in different community events and going above and beyond for the members that belong to the Hit It!® Fitness studio. Coming from a running background, Patti believes that the classes at Hit It!® Fitness truly changed her life. She has become so enamored with the industry that she received her AFAA certification and has become Hit It!® P.O.W.E.R. trained!
Stacy is an ACE certified group fitness instructor and teaches many of the HIIT classes. She is also a dedicated student and can be found taking many of the classes! Stacy is recognized for her ability to push her students in her always new and unique ways and her expectations of fitness is what has lead her to become such an amazing instructor. Being such an avid class taker for many years of her life, she knows what makes a great instructor versus a mediocre instructor and she strives for perfection when she is the one leading the class!
Kathy Brant has been in the fitness industry for over twenty years. She began teaching exercise classes at sixteen! As an ACE certified group fitness instructor with a Master of Arts in Teaching, she has combined her passion for fitness with her love of helping others push themselves to accomplish what they never thought they could do. Kathy first got hooked on yoga while practicing on the beach in Hermosa Beach, California, and has made yoga her group exercise specialty. “It’s been so fun to have the Hit It!® Fitness crew tell me how much their abdominal and gluteal muscles ache after my yoga class!” Some yoga practices do focus on relaxation and stretching – but not Athlete Yoga. Kathy’s class combines strength, flexibility, balance, and core training. “The best way I can describe it is that you leave class feeling like you just had a great workout, a massage, and a glass of wine.”
Oak Park / Roselle
Cindy is an ACE certified group fitness instructor and teaches a variety of formats. If she isn’t teaching, she’s taking classes! She made Hit It!® Fitness her second home when she needed to take her workouts to the next level and then became an instructor Cindy doesn't look at fitness as just a way to stay in shape, but rather as her stress relief from a demanding full-time job and a non-stop personal life. As a year-round athlete growing up, mainly as a gymnast and basketball player, staying active became a way of life and she hasn’t stopped even in her adult life. Cindy hopes to inspire others through her own performance, struggles and work-life balancing act.
Cindy loves Tigger so much that she has a Tigger themed laundry room and the highlight of Disney was meeting him in person.
Cat is a dedicated mother and fitness pro. As a former extreme sport athlete, she always knew the fitness industry was her fate.Her ultimate goal is to help others become better physically which ends up having an ultimate impact on their personal and professional lives.
Fun Fact: She loves to shake her booty to hip hop music and Cat with a “K”is her alter ego. Better watch out if Kat shows up to teach class one day!
Rachael has been a Physical and Health Education Teacher for 7+ years. She graduated with a B.S in Physical Education from Northern Illinois University. With the birth of her first child, she left her full-time position and still got to pursue her love for the fitness industry with Hit It!® Fitness. Now she gets to motivate the inner child in all of us!

Roselle / Oak Park
Donna is a certified Holistic Life Coach and wellness program developer. She has always been a sports enthusiast since she was young and found that the one thing that has been missing most of her life was how important a nutrition/exercise life balance is!
When she was younger, Donna could be found on almost any day of the week bowling somewhere competitively! (Yes, she was a very accomplished competitive bowler - however, she is very humble about it and rarely talks about it!). In recent years, through her own health journey, she has re-discovered health and wellness and is extremely passionate about coaching others to set and accomplish their goals. No matter how big or small, she LOVES helping people realize they have the capability to change their own lives! Donna is extremely relatable and intuitive with others, which sets her apart from other coaches. She has even developed her own wellness event titled Wellamania! for corporate businesses and is in the process of launching that.
Fun Fact: Donna is a crazy cat lady – She and her husband rescued 4 cats from under her neighbor’s deck 10 years ago has been attached ever since.
Jay has been in the U.S. Air Force for 20 + years working in information technology. He is also a certified Physical Training Leader with the Air Force and teaches his classes at Hit It!® Fitness similarly to his military exercise classes. Jay has a B.S in Exercise and Fitness and a Master’s degree in Youth Development and is an ACSM certified Exercise Physiologist, certified CPR instructor, and holds an ACSM credential in Exercise is Medicine.
Fun fact: He LOVES Halloween and has accumulated many costume wigs throughout the years. He even tends to wear the wigs at any occasion possible (weddings, New Year’s Eve, random parties)…maybe an exercise class or two??
Fitness Instructor / Bodygears Physical Therapist
Mason is a physical therapist at Body Gears in Oak Park. He received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in St. Augustine, FL in December of 2017. Previously, he received his Bachelor’s of Science in Neuroscience from Trinity College and Masters in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Mason was a two-sport athlete at Trinity for 3 years until an injury during his Junior year. He plans to continue his education and earn his Manual Therapy Certification (MTC) and Sports Certified Specialization (SCS) in the near future.
Originally, Mason grew up in a northern suburb of Chicago (Northbrook, IL) where his passion for athletics began at an early age. Mason was a 12-season athlete during high school, participating in football, wrestling, and lacrosse. His senior year, he was named captain for all three sports and was honored with being named Male Athlete of the Year. He continued his athletic path in college, participating in wrestling and lacrosse. During his Junior year, he suffered an ACL tear which changed his career trajectory. He found a perfect marriage between science and sport when he underwent physical therapy and committed his life to healing the human body. Mason’s passion is returning people to the activities that they love. He believes that success in physical therapy is measured by the ability of the patient to be functional in all aspects of their life.
Fun Fact: Mason is a huge Bulls, Bears, Cubs, and Blackhawks fan. When he is not watching one of these teams he can be found participating in a variety of sports, hiking, America Ninja Warrior style obstacle training, and coaching. Mason enjoys spending time with his family and his two dogs, especially if a board game is involved :)
