Q: Should I work out everyday?
A: Depending on your activity level the answer varies. If you are talking about 20 minutes of light excercise, it should be done every day! If you typically take Bootcamp classes, High Intensity Interval classes or do heavy weight lifting, then yes you do need a day of rest. Listen to your body. Signs of over training are: fatigue, inability to lose weight, weight gain, decreased immune system, chronic fatigue, joint, bone or limb pain. If you prefer higher intensity classes such as Tabata, Boxing, or even running, consider an Athlete Yoga class 1-2 times per week and invest in a foam roller!
