Pumpkin Oatmeal

The trainers at Hit It!® Fitness preach eating clean and eating often! Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and sadly many of our clients like to sleep as late as possible before heading off to work which makes preparing breakfast nearly impossible. SO… for all you pumpkin lovers out there, try this quick and easy oatmeal recipe which can  be made ahead of time and microwaved OR try adding this treat to your protein smoothies!

1/2 C Old fashioned Oats

3/4 Cup Almond milk

1/4 C Pumpkin Puree

Dash of salt

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/8 tsp vanilla extract

In a pot bring oats + almond milk with all other ingredients to a boil. Reduce to simmer for 10-12 minutes. Let cool until thickened. Enjoy!
